Aqu\u00ed hi ha el nostre intent anual d&#8217;estructurar la incertesa, el desordre i centrar-nos en aspectes que s\u00f3n importants per als directius de les empreses, especialment dins de la ind\u00fastria aliment\u00e0ria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1.Confort amb ambig\u00fcitat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les bones not\u00edcies sobre la darrera Confer\u00e8ncia sobre el Canvi Clim\u00e0tic de les Nacions Unides (COP28) de desembre 2023, \u00e9s que els seus membres han reconegut la necessitat d&#8217;allunyar-se progressivament dels combustibles f\u00f2ssils. Tot i aix\u00f2, els acords continuen sent poc concrets; en objectius, en temps, i grau de compliment. En definitiva, l&#8217;acord deixa molt de marge perqu\u00e8 els pa\u00efsos marquin el seu propi ritme de desenvolupament sostenible, igual que estaran oberts a interpretar les mesures segons els seus interessos. Per aix\u00f2 haurem de continuar operant sota un context d&#8217;incertesa i un seguiment regulador constant per complir amb els compromisos a curt termini, i adequar l&#8217;estrat\u00e8gia i operativa empresarial per poder complir els reptes a mitj\u00e0 i llarg termini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.Els Qu\u00edmics que Mengem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mentrestant, la circularitat dels envasos acapara totes les portades i debats, s&#8217;est\u00e0 parlant poc de les potencials migracions de subst\u00e0ncies que es troben en productes i envasos cap a les persones i entorn com s\u00f3n compostos perfluorats (PFAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;Ag\u00e8ncia Europea de Subst\u00e0ncies Qu\u00edmiques (ECHA) est\u00e0 avaluant una proposta recolzada per ag\u00e8ncies ambientals de diversos pa\u00efsos Europeus per restringir fortament la producci\u00f3 de m\u00e9s de 12.000 subst\u00e0ncies conegudes com a &#8220;qu\u00edmics per sempre&#8221;, inclosos els PFAS en productes i envasos per potencialment representar riscos per al medi ambient i la salut humana. La proposta vol minimitzar l&#8217;\u00fas de PFAS, impulsant un canvi cap a solucions alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3.El Poder del Paper<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest 2023 ja hem viscut una revoluci\u00f3 del paper al packaging, i sens dubte seguirem veient aquesta tend\u00e8ncia en els propers anys. Prop del 40% del pl\u00e0stic produ\u00eft es destina a envasos d&#8217;un sol \u00fas, per la qual cosa l&#8217;oportunitat de reduir-ne l&#8217;impacte substituint-lo per paper \u00e9s gegantina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La bona not\u00edcia \u00e9s que el paper ja disposa d&#8217;altes prestacions antigreix, antihumitat, fins i tot oferint barreres davant de l&#8217;oxigen i la termosellabilitat, mantenint la seva provada alta taxa de reciclatge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.Reports de Sostenibilitat<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prepara&#8217;t per als nous requisits de reporting ESG<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;any 2024 prop de 50.000 companyies tindran la necessitat de crear i divulgar els nous informes de sostenibilitat. Aix\u00f2 inclou empreses que no formen part de la Uni\u00f3 Europea per\u00f2 que tenen subsidi\u00e0ries operant a la UE o que cotitzen en mercats regulats de la UE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El reporting en sostenibilitat a nivell mundial est\u00e0 arribant gaireb\u00e9 al 100% entre les anomenades empreses N100; una mostra de les empreses m\u00e9s grans de diferents pa\u00efsos. La tend\u00e8ncia tamb\u00e9 \u00e9s imparable entre les Fortune 500. Segons la nostra an\u00e0lisi, fa deu anys, el 65% d&#8217;aquestes empreses ja ho reportaven, i el 2023, aquest n\u00famero ja se situa per sobre del 85%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Davant d&#8217;aquest escenari, els consumidors augmentaran les expectatives i esperaran el mateix nivell de transpar\u00e8ncia i comprom\u00eds per part d&#8217;empreses mitjanes i fins i tot petites, encara que no estiguin obligades a fer-ho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5.Skinny Packaging<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La pr\u00e0ctica de l&#8217;Skinny Packaging continuar\u00e0 molt viva els propers anys convertint els envasos en m\u00e9s lleugers (\u00fas de menys material), m\u00e9s purs a nivell de mat\u00e8ria primera per millorar la seva taxa de reciclatge (monomaterials), menys tintes (dissenys m\u00e9s nets), i amb tot aix\u00f2 obtenir una major efici\u00e8ncia en l&#8217;\u00e0mbit log\u00edstic i tamb\u00e9 una millora en la rendibilitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6.El Consumidor Decideix<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les decisions d&#8217;embalatge sense validaci\u00f3 del consumidor poden portar a fracassos evitables, com ara llan\u00e7ar al mercat un producte amb un preu que els consumidors no estan disposats a pagar (excessiu green premium). Un altre error com\u00fa \u00e9s centrar-se nom\u00e9s en reduir les emissions sense considerar la funcionalitat real del producte. Per exemple, una coneguda marca d&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 va llan\u00e7ar al mercat una nova l\u00ednia de menjar preparat servit en safates de cartr\u00f3 recoberta de film pl\u00e0stic pelable antigreix per poder separar els residus i aix\u00ed millorar la seva empremta de carboni. El problema va venir quan mesos despr\u00e9s es van adonar que els consumidors no separaven els materials al seu dia a dia, a m\u00e9s de tenir una experi\u00e8ncia complexa i negativa en obrir l&#8217;env\u00e0s. La marca va haver d&#8217;abandonar aquest tipus de safates i tornar a comen\u00e7ar el projecte. El consumidor continua sent el centre a les empreses, i si volem assegurar l&#8217;\u00e8xit d&#8217;un nou env\u00e0s, cal validar-lo a trav\u00e9s dels estudis i la recerca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7.Greenfluencers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Els &#8220;Greenfluencers&#8221; s\u00f3n els nous influencers que exerceixen un paper clau en l&#8217;augment de les converses sobre canvi clim\u00e0tic, assolint un m\u00e0xim hist\u00f2ric de mencions el 2023. Aquestes figures, com Carlota Bruna o Ana de Santos a nivell nacional, i Mikaela Loach o Sage Lenier a nivell internacional, promouen la consci\u00e8ncia ambiental i contribueixen m\u00e9s a la consci\u00e8ncia ambiental i contribueixen al consci\u00e8ncia ambiental. S\u00f3n els i les noves accionistes del planeta a tenir en compte per a qualsevol empresa o instituci\u00f3 actual, ja que els consumidors de la Generaci\u00f3 Z i els Millennials creuen que, si una marca es preocupa pel seu impacte sobre les persones i al planeta, s\u00f3n un 27% m\u00e9s propensos a comprar-la, cosa que demostra clarament el poder de la sostenibilitat per influir en les decisions de compra en aquest grup. Un nou grup dinter\u00e8s a considerar en lelaboraci\u00f3 de futures estrat\u00e8gies i plans dacci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8.Greenwashing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aviat podr\u00edem acomiadar-nos de la moda de claims com \u201cEco-Friendly\u201d i similars al m\u00f3n de la comunicaci\u00f3, almenys a la Uni\u00f3 Europea. El Parlament de la UE est\u00e0 a punt d&#8217;aprovar noves regles que busquen prohibir l&#8217;\u00fas de termes ganduls en productes i serveis, com ara &#8220;amigable amb el medi ambient&#8221;, &#8220;eco-friendly&#8221;, o &#8220;verd&#8221; entre molts altres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per aquesta ra\u00f3, el 2023 passat, la mateixa Comissi\u00f3 Europea anunciava una nova proposta per establir criteris comuns contra el greenwashing i la informaci\u00f3 mediambiental enganyosa. Es tracta de la \u201cDirectiva sobre al\u00b7legacions mediambientals\u201d o \u201cProposal of a Directive on Green Claims\u201d, en angl\u00e8s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquestes regulacions requeriran que les empreses donen suport a les seves afirmacions de sostenibilitat amb evid\u00e8ncia s\u00f2lida. Tot i que aquestes normatives podrien donar als dissenyadors una oportunitat per impulsar pr\u00e0ctiques m\u00e9s ecol\u00f2giques, sorgeix la pregunta de si seran suficients o si ens portaran a una nova era de llenguatge i est\u00e8tica de \u201cgreenwashing\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9.L&#8217;Arribada del Passaport Digital<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At\u00e8s que el disseny del producte determina fins al 80 % del seu impacte ambiental durant el cicle de vida, es preveu ben aviat una regulaci\u00f3 que estableixi els criteris m\u00ednims per a la seva circularitat, \u00fas eficient d&#8217;energia i impacte medi ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L&#8217;actual \u201cRegulaci\u00f3 de Productes Sostenibles\u201d (ESPR) representa una primera orientaci\u00f3 i un marc d&#8217;actuaci\u00f3 per a les empreses. Tot i aix\u00f2, el gran canvi es preveu per a finals del 2024 quan la Uni\u00f3 Europea reguli els \u201cPassaports Digitals de Productes\u201d (DPPs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Els DPP proporcionaran informaci\u00f3 sobre la sostenibilitat ambiental en escanejar el codi. Inclour\u00e0 detalls com durabilitat, reparabilitat i contingut reciclat. Aix\u00f2 ajudar\u00e0 consumidors i empreses a prendre millors decisions i fomentar les reparacions i el reciclatge, a m\u00e9s de millorar la transpar\u00e8ncia sobre l&#8217;impacte ambiental i facilitar controls per a les institucions governamentals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>10.Del DIY (Do It Yourself) al DIT (Do It Together)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A l&#8217;hora de provocar canvis a nivell de sostenibilitat cal col\u00b7laborar, connectar amb altres participants amb el mateix objectiu per maximitzar-ne els resultats. I al m\u00f3n empresarial, aquest lideratge sovint ve agents externs com a noves associacions sectorials que fomenten la mobilitzaci\u00f3 conjunta. Un exemple recent i significatiu \u00e9s el projecte llan\u00e7at per la plataforma Manufacture 2030 (M2030) que uneix empreses del mateix sector a reduir el 50% de les emissions per al 2030. Les majors cadenes de supermercats del Regne Unit, incloent Aldi, Asda, Tesco i altres ja han comen\u00e7at a col\u00b7laborar emissions dels supermercats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquesta plataforma de descarbonitzaci\u00f3 ofereix als prove\u00efdors acc\u00e9s a projectes de bones pr\u00e0ctiques, eines educatives i serveis de suport, facilitant a les empreses la identificaci\u00f3 i la implementaci\u00f3 d&#8217;oportunitats per reduir-ne l&#8217;impacte ambiental.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Crear una agenda para este 2024 no es una tarea f\u00e1cil.
